Really consistently blown away by how good The Boys is. How it doesn’t shy away from American nationalism, white supremacy, imperialism, racism & xenophobia, the horrors of the power of capitalism, the weaponization of meme culture to sway civilian political trends, the way they actually said the word transgender and used it in a positive light with no disgust attached, the way they had a black character openly call a Nazi character a Nazi instead of skirting around the word, the way the environment a child is raised in is intrinsically intertwined with the bigotry of morally horrible people in power, etc etc I could go on forever. And hell, I’m only at the end of season 2.
Trans men demanding access to reproductive healthcare is anti terf action. Terfs want trans men excluded from reproductive healthcare. They want us at higher risk for cervical cancer. They want us unable to get abortions. They want us unable to receive the care we need so we are forced to detransition. They are hoping we get pregnant and have to quit taking T, they are hoping we get cancer and have to change our papers back before the medical system will do anything about it, they are hoping we just die because we’re traitors and deserve it.
This shit is an existential threat against trans men and transmasc. We deserve access to healthcare.
